Polish game studio GameBoom VR will release "Thief Simulator VR" in October. Players will have to learn how pick door locks, rob houses, jump through windows and hide in the trash, as they try to pay off a debt to a mysterious family.
Players will have to observe their target and gather information that will help them get away with the burglary without getting caught. They can also steal cars, driving away with a new VR-adapted driving model.
As they go, users can disassemble stolen cars, hack phones and tablets in their hideout, and sell their goods at a pawn shop, using the money to buy new thief tools and gadgets that will allow them to rob richer people.
"Thief Simulator VR" will debut in Early Access in October. The game will cost $15. Players will be able to buy "Thief Simulator VR" on the Steam and Viveport store. It is available for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality. People with the original version of "Thief Simulator" can receive a discount coupon on Steam for the VR version.
