Membership Options
Joining VR Nation will let you engage with the community. Members can post on the forums, rate videos, comment on posts, suggest videos and playlists or share their own VR experiences and 360-degree stills. Members can also build a profile, start discussion topics and send private messages to friends. This option will not automatically sign you up for our weekly email newsletter, but when you set up your profile, you can choose to receive email notifications when someone replies to you posts, or sends you a private message, etc.
Email Sign Up
Our weekly email newsletter featurs alerts about upcoming VR Live events, news headlines and a collection of all the new content added to our VR Sherpa Channels. You can use a different email address for the newsletter from the one you use for your profile notifications. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the link at the bottom of the email and it won’t affect your status a registered member. You can still receive whatever notifications you want from the community. Or you can ignore the community and just get the newsletter if that's all you want.
If you have already registered, you’re ready to set up your profile, upload an avatar and a background picture, connect with friends and send private messages. You can also set up email notifications that will alert you when someone sends you message, comments on you post, or likes one of your posts. These notifications are all turned off by default, so you have to choose the notifications you want to receive. This is entirely different from the email newsletter. To unsubscribe from our newsletter, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom at the bottom of the email you received.
