Gadgeteer Launches on the Oculus Quest Next Week

Vancouver, B.C.-based developer Metanaut announced that its highly anticipated VR game Gadgeteer will be released for Oculus Quest, Oct. 24 for $14.99.

Gadgeteer is a virtual reality puzzle/sandbox game where you solve physics-based puzzles and build your own chain reaction machines in Rube Goldberg fashion. Your inventions will launch gadgets, bump blocks, run marbles down twists and turns – and maybe even tear the fabric of space-time.

Without wires, Gadgeteer is more accessible than ever on the Oculus Quest, allowing players to build wherever and however they like. With over 50 unique gadgets and a bunch of powerful features – such as freezing, cloning, and undoing – players can build impossibly complicated machines that aren’t feasible in the real world. Puzzlers can test their wit by solving 60 levels in the Puzzle Mode, or they can flex their creativity in the unlimited playspace in the Sandbox Mode.

Gadgeteer (Early Access) is already available on Steam (Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift/Rift S, and Windows MR headsets) and the Oculus Store (Oculus Rift/Rift S).

Gadgeteer will be available worldwide on the Oculus Quest Store for $14.99 USD at 9AM PST on October 24th, 2019.
