“Cubeland VR” Launches in Early Access

Korean VR developer Polyart Studio launched “Cubeland VR” in Steam Early Access. The game is a multiplayer VR action game where players have to throw bombs at each other.

Players are required to make strategical decisions when using bombs especially when playing with team members. There are four kinds of bombs and healing items available. Players can throw a bomb directly at an opponent to hit them or take them down by blowing up nearby cubes. Basic objects in the environment can also be destroyed by bombs.

Meanwhile players have to be careful not to step off the platform into the void, resulting in sudden death.

There are several different bombs and items in the game – including normal bombs, much more powerful bombs, painkiller bombs, (which can restore one’s energy) and electronic bombs, (which can temporarily limit an opponent's movement). In addition, chemical bullets can temporarily blind the opponent.

The game is available for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift or Valve Index. Polyart Studio plans to enhance “Cubeland VR” through feedback from early access participants.
