Indie game developer Going Gangbusters announced the Steam Early Access launch of “Bloodstream” – a unique VR game for Valve Index, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift that challenges you to become a ninja warrior fighting off dozens of enemies, while dodging and repelling swarms of incoming projectiles.
Players in this VR-exclusive game use magical energy streams to unleash deadly power attacks. Doing this smoothly gains Chi, while jerky hands lose Chi. Players have to block, whack and hurl magic at their foes, smashing giant stone fists pulled from the ground, crashing meteors clutched from the skies, whirling flaming fire tornados and slashing energy quakes.
“Bloodstream” also features support for LIV mixed-reality recording, letting users record themselves playing the game and share the results for bragging rights.
Real heroes can use their recordings to enter the Smooth Moves Dude Competition with a cash prize up for grabs. The lucky winner will be announced in January.
Going Gangbusters is currently running a special promotion for “Bloodstream” on Steam that offers the game at a 50% discount for a limited time.
